- As a graduate flutists since 2000 Irena Blagojević has successfully built a career in the field of classical music while working as a flute teacher. Singing has been her "second love" for a while, and as the winner of the "Night of the young hopes" at "Belgrade Spring festival" in 2000 she earned the right to participate in the festival "Slavic Bazaar" in Kiev, where she also won the first place. In 2008 she decided to start a solo career in a different musical style, and the audience attention has been diverted by her first album "Morning without love" which represented an extraordinary style of interpretation. On that album she appeared as a solo author of more than half of the lyrics, music and arrangements. Between the two albums, Irena published singles: soul song "Lonely Days" in English and disco-funk-jazz "Memories of You", which was followed by a very attractive and funny puppet video, atypical for the domestic music scene. Irena was also very active in concert and club performances. Successful concerts in the past held in Belgrade Youth Centre, Sava Centre, Kolarac performed with the Big Band RTS, as well as several jazz festivals (Bijelo Polje, Cetinje, Valjevo, Sremska Mitrovica, Nišvil, etc.), with regular club gigs. Irena Blagojević devoted significant portion of her time to the pedagogical work - running her own school of singing for 6 years, intended for the young and talented musicians who want to master and perfect singing, through individual instructions, which includes familiarization with different singing styles. She recently started working as a vocal coach for EI sistema Serbia and the Master Blaster music project.
